Activating the myPOS payment terminal to your myPOS account #
The company owner should activate the myPOS device to their myPOS account before the installation at the workshop, so the following steps can be done.
Pairing the myPOS payment terminal to the meter #
In order for payment transactions to function, the myPOS payment terminal must be linked to the meter in Cabman Data. Linking to Cabman Data takes place once the Cabman MDT meter has connected to the network for the first time, i.e., in the final stage of installation. This is done by logging into Cabman Data and locating the vehicle in question under the "Vehicles" menu. Select the vehicle and scroll down to the "Configuration" and "myPOS" section. Enter the payment terminal ID (TID number, 8 digits). You can obtain the TID number from the payment terminal section in the myPOS web portal or application.
Pairing myPOS payment terminal and Cabman Data #
myPOS payment terminal needs to be paired in Cabman Data to a certain vehicle, in order for the payments to transfer from meter to payment terminal. This is done with following steps:
